The NovaUltra Nissl Stain Kit is designed to demonstrate Nissl bodies within neuronal cytoplasm. The stain produces a purple-blue appearance and is described as a method for identifying basic neuronal structure in brain or spinal cord tissue. It is suitable for formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections and may also be used with frozen sections. The kit contains 250 mL of Cresyl Violet Solution.
