The NovaUltra Safranin O Stain Kit is intended for demonstrating cartilage, mucin, and mast cell granules in tissue sections. Cartilage and mucin are stained orange to red, nuclei black, and the background green. The method is suitable for formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections and may also be used with frozen sections. The kit supplies Safranin O, Weigert’s Iron Hematoxylin, Fast Green, and acetic acid solutions.
