The NovaUltra Orcein Elastin Stain Kit is designed to identify elastic fibers in tissue sections. Elastic fibers are stained dark brown and nuclei light blue. The method is intended for formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections and may also be used with frozen sections.
