The SQP-HH31 brain slicing mold is designed for 2 mm coronal sections of adult Rhesus macaque brain tissue. Its aluminum-alloy construction and digitally engraved positioning marks support consistent placement and even sectioning. The mold can be used for initial positioning of fixed tissue and for locating regions in fresh tissue before downstream histological, molecular, protein, or biochemical analysis. Coronal models include a sagittal midline to help separate the left and right hemispheres. The mold is also suitable for workflows involving paraffin, frozen, cryosectioning, vibratome, or ultrathin sectioning.
