Embedding tissue in paraffin

Following a thorough wash in distilled water, fixed tissue will be dehydrated through graded ethanol, cleared in xylenes, and then impregnated and embedded in paraffin. The embedded tissue will be stored at 4°C before sectioning.

Remarks: 

• A quotation is required before placing an order.
• The investigator needs to provide fixed tissue.
• We use various types of paraffin with the melting point ranging from 50-56°C. The investigator may choose the type of paraffin for a particular purpose.
